Shepherd of the Valley is a congregation of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), the third largest Lutheran church body in America. WELS began in 1850 when three German pastors met in Milwaukee. Today, it has grown to over 1,200 congregations in North America. WELS congregations are found in all 50 states and over 25 foreign countries. The WELS has over 400,000 baptized members, which includes over 300,000 communicants, served by over 1,000 pastors.

Shepherd of the Valley is located in Westminster, Colorado, a suburb of Denver.

Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade Christian Education is available for both members and non-members of the congregations.
